Many know of Rapa Nui's famous Moai statues. Some of those statues were adorned with headpieces made with red scoria. These were called Pukao. Though much is conjecture in regards to the Moai, it is believed that these "hats" were a symbol of power for those represented in the statues.
This is a piece of magnetic art. It was hand sculpted and cast in durable urethane with a high strength magnet. It is hand painted and may differ slightly from the image above.
